How Do I Install the ETON Front & Center Sound Upgrade in a Sprinter?
Install an ETON front and center sound upgrade in a Sprinter in 1–2 hours using the provided wiring harness, speakers, and mounting brackets. The upgrade replaces factory audio with ETON components mounted at the front cabin and center positions for improved sound quality. Remove factory speakers, disconnect factory wiring, connect the ETON harness to your head unit or factory radio, mount new speakers using provided brackets, and test audio. Your Sprinter van gets upgraded music and podcast quality.

Tools & Materials
Plastic lever installation tool (included with kit)
Impact or drill driver with t20, t25, & t30 bits
#2 Phillips screwdriver
(2) 6.5" front woofer/midrange speakers, (2) 25mm fabric tweeters with vehicle-specific mounts, (1) 80mm center channel speaker, vehicle-specific cable crossovers, connectors and mounting hardware (included with kit)
Installation Instructions
Remove the door panel
Using the pry tool, remove all (5) screw caps and the screws revealed beneath. At the bottom of the panel, remove (3) screw-type retainers. Pull out on the door panel to disengage the panel clips using the included plastic lever tool to release the clips without cracking anything.
Pull the factory speaker
Disconnect the steel rod from the plastic retainer clip and lift off the panel. Disconnect all factory utility harnesses.
Mount it
Screw the new speaker into the factory hole pattern; the sealing flange is built in.
Plug in the new speaker
The vehicle-specific connector is keyed, so it only seats one way, no rewiring needed.
Mount the door panel
Reinstall all harnesses. Reinstall the door handle rod into the retainer clip. Re-hang the door panel and push the panel clips into place. Reinstall all screws, caps, and clips.
Repeat on the other door
Install the center channel
Using the pry tool, pop the dash grille over the factory 65mm opening. Remove old speaker and mount the new speaker. Connect the dual-terminal plug.
Install the A-pillar dash tweeters
Using the pry tool, lift the plastic grill covers where the A-pillar meets the dash. Use the pry tool to remove factory tweeter. Disconnect old tweeter and plug in new tweeter/cover combo.
Reassemble and test
Clip the panels and dash trim back into place, then test all speakers.
