How to Install & Operate Bugwall Fast Track System | Complete Keder Track Install Guide

Overview

Install Bugwall Fast Track keder track on sliding and rear van doors in 2–3 hours for a secure bug-screen mounting system. The fast-track slides into your door frame's existing channels and accepts Bugwall bug screens via a keder groove. Measure your door opening, cut the track to length, secure with fasteners into the door frame, and lock bug screens in place with a pull cord. Your van gets ventilation without insects.

Before You Start

  • Vehicle: Mercedes Sprinter

  • Kit: GoCode Bugwall Fast Track Trim Kit (over-slider threshold + D-Pillar rear trim)

  • Mounting location: Slider door threshold and center D-pillar

  • Estimated installation time: ~2-3 hours

Tools & Materials

  • Drill with PH1 Phillips bit

  • Tape measure

  • Marker or pencil (for the D-pillar registration mark)

  • Provided #4 X 1/2” screws (7 slider, 9 D-pillar), included with the tracks

  • 40" straight Keder Track piece (slider) and contoured Keder Track piece (D-pillar), included with purchase

Installation Instructions

  1. Slider Keder Track Installation

    Position the 40" straight Keder Track against the slider's flange, starting right at the radius of the curve. Fasten the track to the slider with #4 screws. Fasten both ends first, doubling up a second screw about 1–1.5" in from each end for extra strength, then space two more screw through the middle of the run. Seven screws total; the track should sit flush against the flange the full length.

  1. Center D-Pillar Kedar Track Installation

    Measure the D-pillar Keder Track and mark its center, then dry-fit it so that the mark lines up directly between the two door-latch holes — this registers the piece's curve to the contour of the D-pillar. Using #4 screws, fasten the center point first, then work outward, keeping screws on the far side of the button/screw-hole divots and in line with the screw-hole recesses on either side of each contour change. Finish each end with one screw by the hole and a second about 1–1.5" from the edge. Nine screws total.
